The Grand Lodge of Oklahoma has a page with links to the Grand Lodges in the USA and Canada.

The Masonic Fraternity generally forbids solicitation. The different Grand Lodges define that word differently. In some states it means you cannot ask a person to join. In others it means you cannot vex a person about joining the Lodge. In all jurisdiction you have to join of your own free will and accord. I have found this website that has a list of the Grand Lodge’s websites you can contact the Grand Lodge where you live about joining: http://www.child-id.org/grand_lodges_of_the_united_state.htm . Most are current. As I find more web links I will post them.

I think we have weathered the storm and I have turned on posting again.

I love Masonry. Were else in the world could a farm boy from SE Oklahoma pickup the phone and talk to a man like Brother Rawson, or meet men like Adm Crowe, Roy Clark, or Howie Damron, and be treated as a brother. I have heard a tale, probably an urban legend that when Pres. Truman would go to Lodge in DC, the White House Gardner was the Master of the Lodge. The brotherhood, companionship and friendship found in Masonry is like no other.
Thank you Brother Rawson for the opportunity to make something new of this website. And I hope to speak with you soon, just keep my phone number in your file.
If anyone would like to submit articles, or ideas for this site drop me a line at dhiggi@cableone.net

First, let me thank Brother Carl Jones whose distribution of email reached over 2000 people in just under two day. Thank you for getting the word out to Masonry in the United States and abroad.
Next, a thank you goes to all of you that asked to be considered for the site.
The individual that will receive the site wrote the following email:
I am interested. I am currently Grand Scribe in Okla., PM of the Ok Lodge of Research and SM of my New AMD. I would like the site to discuss masonry and have links off to to have a Web Site for my AMD. If possible I would like to have an e-mail group on it to replace the OkMason that lost their provider.

It wasn’t his email as much as it was his phone call and enthusiasm for Masonry that set his request apart from others. In all there were more than 20 requests for the website. I’m so humbled by the response. It certainly makes me proud to be associated with each of you. If you ever feel I can be helpful, don’t hesitate to ask.
So, thank you all and Donnie, thank you for your sincerity and desire.
Fraternally,
DR Rawson
It is with great sadness that I prepare to release this site from my control. I simply no longer have the time, enthusiasm and the passion to continue. I know that somewhere out there is a man who loves Freemasonry as I do, as we all do and would like to use this forum to educate and discuss opportunity within Masonry.
Are you the one? You don’t have to live in California or even the United States. As most of you know, there are Masons’ all over the world. If you would like to discuss this with me, please contact me
Thank you to all those that have stopped by here in the past.
Fraternally,
DR Rawson
In my Firefox browser I store bookmarks on a variety of subjects. One is called Masonry sites. Recently I’ve come across a couple of sites that I think are worth mentioning. I’m asking one of them to actually provide me with an ad that can be placed on this site. I’m not charging them for the space or exposure. Instead, I believe that the symbols they offer are worth noting.
The flag, an eagle, a mountain, the square and compass, the cross, the six sided star or whatever you see as a symbol means something to you. Something very personal. In my office here at 110 square I have many things on the walls to remind me of people, principles, places I’ve been or even something I want to achieve.

It’s so true, Masons are everywhere. While our individual thoughts may be for or against the war, the men and women serving need to know that we’re all thinking of them and the hardships they must endure.
Today, I’ve found a site that is dedicated to Masons in Iraq for U.S. It can be found by Continue reading the story called Masonic Troop Support
